Abstract

Talking about academic management in basic and secondary education that the world recognizes the "collegue" as those work scenarios is important that this academic activity where the teaching directors are articulating axes, the educational institutions of the country Colombia, seek the assurance of the educational quality through management strategies according to guide 34 established by the Ministry of National Education MEN, this guideline works on 4 large components in the areas of Community Management, area: Academic Management, area: Administrative and Financial Management, area: Directive
Management, it is important that an immersion process begins in 2004 where self evaluation processes are carried out annually, as an establishment mechanism the element of social context serves, but it lacks elements that allow the monitoring of the results of the self evaluation, as well as improvement plans, and action plans with which the action is sustained nar, where the research contributes to the specific development model contemplated to favor directive and management practices for the improvement of the educational service.
